The handpan has no standard notation. HandPan Parts offers one, shaped by the instrument itself: tap the notes straight onto the handpan image, then read them back on a grid that scrolls itself, always showing what comes next.

Le handpan est dessiné à l'écran, avec le ding au centre et la couronne en zigzag, exactement comme sur ton instrument. Tape une zone : la note entre dans la partition, avec sa durée. Aucun solfège requis.
The handpan is drawn on screen — ding in the centre, tone fields in their real zigzag layout. Tap a field and the note enters the score with its duration. No music theory needed.

Two rows on screen: the one you are playing, and the one announcing what follows. The window advances a full row at a time, so you always read ahead of your hands.

Deux notes sur un même temps, et les trois frappes percussives — slap, tak, basse — notées et jouées. Une main frappe la coque pendant que l'autre tient la note.
Two notes on the same beat, plus the three percussive strikes — slap, tak, bass — both notated and played back. One hand on the shell while the other holds the note.

Chaque zone porte son numéro en plus du nom de la note. Tu choisis ce qui s'affiche, et si le ding porte le n° 0 ou le n° 1 — les deux conventions existent.
Every field carries its number alongside the note name. You choose what is displayed, and whether the ding is numbered 0 or 1 — both conventions are in use.

Pour qui apprend et veut garder une trace de ce qu'il trouve. Pour qui enseigne et doit transmettre un motif sans passer par la vidéo. Pour qui compose et perd ses idées faute de pouvoir les écrire. Le handpan s'apprend surtout d'oreille — cette app ne remplace pas cela, elle donne simplement une mémoire à ce que tu joues.
